Contribute to MET

We welcome well-researched, evidence-based submissions on the Maldivian economy, public policy, governance and development.

Contributions may include economic and policy analysis, research-based commentary and other evidence-based work relevant to MET’s areas of coverage.

Submissions should be original, supported by credible sources and written in clear, accessible language.

Editorial Guidelines for Contributors

MET welcomes contributions that are factual, evidence-based, clearly argued and accessible. Analysis should, where relevant, be supported by credible data, official statistics, research and other reliable sources.

MET’s editorial approach focuses on policies, institutions, economic outcomes and public issues rather than personalities. Contributions should distinguish evidence from interpretation and acknowledge material uncertainty or differing perspectives where relevant.

Views expressed in contributed articles are those of the respective authors and do not necessarily represent the views of MET or any organisation with which the authors may be associated.

Submissions are reviewed for relevance, evidence, clarity and consistency with MET’s editorial standards. Submission does not guarantee publication, and accepted contributions may be edited for clarity, style and presentation in consultation with the author where appropriate.
