Who We Are
Maldives Economy Today (MET) is an independent digital publication dedicated to evidence-based analysis of the Maldivian economy, public policy, governance and development.
We focus on explaining economic and policy developments clearly, drawing on data, research and relevant international experience. Our aim is to make complex issues accessible to policymakers, businesses, researchers, students and the wider public.
Why MET?
Sound public policy depends on informed public discussion. Yet economic and policy issues are often complex, and their implications are not always easily understood.
