Ahmed As’ad is a finance and accounting professional with experience across the public and private sectors. He served as Minister of State for Finance and Treasury and was involved with HDFC Maldives during its establishment stage. He has also worked in the private sector, providing expertise in accounting, finance and business development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
